- Currently about 50+ children attend in following classes:
- Kindergarten (approx 3 - 5 years) - Haselmäuse
- Class 1 (approx 5 - 7 years) - Erdmännchen
- Class 2 (approx 7 - 9 years) - Polarfüchse
- Class 3 (approx 9 - 10 years) - Löwen
- Class 4 (approx 10-11 years) - Blauwale
- Class 5 (approx 12 - 13 years) - Delfine
- GCSE Class (approx 14 - 15 years)
The lessons take place on Saturdays during Surrey county school term time. The exact dates are sent out before beginning of each term by email. Term Dates.
- Times:
- Lessons: 10:00 - 10:45 and 11:00 - 11:45am
- Break: 10:45 - 11:00
Please note: It's the parents responsibility to be present at breaktime (10:45-11:00) and to supervise their children.
- Class Size: Maximum number of pupils per class is currently 12.
Classes are put together not only by age, but the German language skills of the pupils are taken into account as well.
- We have waiting lists in the most popular classes.
Particularly the Kindergarten class has a long waiting list.

- The German Saturday School is a unincorporated association with non-profit ambition, depending on parental volunteers. We are a member of the Association of German Saturday Schools (VDSS).
The fees are kept to the minimum to cover the running costs, including rental of the premises, materials and books, and teacher emolument.
