We expect the children to have a good working knowledge of German to understand and follow instructions and respond age appropriately. This is essential for the children to take part in lessons and enjoy their time at school.

The majority of the children are growing up in a bilingual family where German is often their first language. They have a good understanding of German, but want to improve their fluency and reading and writing skills.
